What Sedai does#

Sedai’s AWS page says “The Only Safe Way To Optimize AWS”, and its homepage describes it as optimizing “your entire stack, from Kubernetes to VMs to tokens”. You set goals for cost and performance, and Sedai’s “agentic platform does the rest, on autopilot”. Sedai says it uses patented agentic AI to learn how your applications and agents behave, so it can remove waste in real time.

It has two modes. In Copilot, you approve each optimization with one click. In Autopilot, it acts on its own. Its examples show the kind of change it makes: adjusting a workload’s memory requests and limits, with the before and after values and the cost impact. On AWS, its supported-technology section lists compute optimization for Amazon EKS, ECS, EC2/Fargate and Lambda (“Sedai tunes EKS, ECS, EC2/Fargate, & Lambda in real time to match demand”), along with storage and data optimization.

Sedai does not publish prices. Its pricing page says the model “is based on your unique cloud environment and usage” and asks you to request a custom quote.

What CloudFix does#

Using them together#

There is some overlap, mostly around compute, but the two tools mostly look at different things. A team that runs its services on EKS or Lambda could use Sedai to tune those workloads while CloudFix handles the AWS configuration around them, such as EBS volume types, S3 storage classes, CloudWatch log retention, NAT Gateways and DynamoDB table classes. If you use both, agree who owns which resources, so two automation tools never change the same one.
