What Vantage does#

Vantage’s homepage headline is “Understand every dollar from Agents to AWS”, and it calls itself “the system of record for allocating and optimizing cloud, SaaS, and AI costs”. Its feature list is grouped into finding savings (Autopilot for AWS Savings Plans, cost recommendations, Kubernetes rightsizing, cross-provider recommendations), stopping overruns (anomaly detection, custom cost alerts, budget alerts) and building a FinOps culture (virtual tagging, network flow reports, unit costs, budgets, financial commitment reports, and Slack, Jira and Microsoft Teams integrations). It also offers an MCP server so you can query cost data from ChatGPT or Claude.

Autopilot for AWS Savings Plans profiles your compute spend and makes “automatic or approval-based purchases” of Savings Plans.

Vantage publishes its prices. Starter is free for up to $2,500 of tracked cloud spend. Pro is $30/month for up to $7,500 and includes Autopilot. Business is $200/month for up to $20,000 and adds an automated FinOps agent. Enterprise is custom, with unlimited tracked spend. Pro and Business come with a 14-day free trial.
